Silver Lake's Michael Quigley tosses no-no in 1st varsity start

Sophomore Michael Quigley threw a no-hitter in his first varsity start as Silver Lake defeated Pembroke 2-1. Quigley (1-0) was dominating striking out 11, only walking 3. Pembroke's lone run came when the RFer dropped a ball w 2 out in the bottom 7th. Runner took 2nd on defensive indifference, got to 3B on a wild pitch and scored on a balk.

Kyle Haugstad 3-3, Alex Heffernan 2-3 and Matt Bettle 2-4 led the Laker offense.

Basketball All Star Games

The Boys and Girls basketball all-star games will be played on March 9^th at Whitman-Hanson.  The boys play at 5pm and the girls play at 6:30pm.
