> The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played an away game against Bridgewate-Raynham in a non - league matchup. The Panthers went down by 5 goals in the first 5 minutes of the game. WH battled back to come within 2 goals at the half. The Panthers managed to win the draw more often and control the
> draw in the second half despite being down 4 goals at one point early. Once the offense started clicking, the Panthers were fighting for every loose ball and every goal. They tied the game 12-12 with less than a minute to go off of a nice assist from Rachel Kelly (3 goals, 3 assists) to Mel McAleer (2 goals). Then after a great save by Kasey Molito (12 saves), Rylee Holmes came barreling in for the go ahead goal with seconds left to lead the Panthers to a 13-12 victory. Ali Joanis had a hat trick and Gabby Majenski (2 goals, 2 assists), Taylor McVeigh (1 goal), and Lauren Bonavita (1 goal) all scored for WH. The win puts the Panthers at 3-1 on the season (2-0 league).
