The Whitman Hanson Boys Cross Country team improved to 4-0 in Patriot League competition with a 24-33 win over Plymouth North at the Plymouth Community Intermediate School on Tuesday afternoon.  Junior Captain Lukas Moscoso (15:17) edged North's Nick McNamee (15:18) for the win. Whitman-Hanson Junior Bryce Pulkinen (3rd overall, 15:54), Junior Jack Ryan (5th, 15:59) and Senior Pat Duffey (6th, 16:00) were Whitman's other top finishers on the 2.65 Mile course.  Plymouth North's Cole Nelson placed 4th overall in 15:55 in an exciting race.

Plymouth North's talented Girls Cross Country team handed Whitman-Hanson (3-1) its first dual meet loss in 9 years with a 26-31 win.  Whitman-Hanson's Senior Captain Samantha Coletti finished first overall in a new course record of 16:22 on the 2.65 Mile course, but it was not enough to as PN's Jordan Callahan and Sam Curtin finished 2/3 (17:21, 17:22) ahead of Whitman Hanson's Abbie Newman (4th, 18:16) and Sophomore Nicole Norve (5th, 18:42.)  Plymouth North took places 6-9 to seal the victory.  Sophomore Lily Perkins ran a great race (10th overall, 20:13) to keep it close for the Panthers.
