WH Gymnastics Falls to Hanover

Gymnastics: Whitman Hanson vs Hanover  1/22/2017

Despite achieving one of its top team scores of the season, Whitman-Hanson (123.45) fell to Hanover (128.2) in their second meeting of the season.

With uncharacteristic falls on vault, Sarah Bombardier and Kaylee Torpey still pulled in WH's highest vault scores sharing 5th place with a 7.8.

Sarah Bombardier placed 2nd on bars with a 7.95. Kaylee Torpey posted a 5th place bar score of 6.95.

Whitman Hanson dominated the beam rotation. Sarah Bombardier posted her highest beam score of the season with an 8.4 for 2nd place. WH took also secured 4th (Kaylee Torpey 7.9), 5th (Joelle Puopolo 7.7), and 6th (Kaileigh Gordon 7.6) on beam.

Sarah Bombardier posted her highest floor score of the season with an 8.55 for 3rd place. Kaylee Torpey posted her highest floor score of the season with an 8.4 for 4th place.

Sarah Bombardier secured a 3rd place all-around finish with a season high 32.7. Kaylee Torpey put up a season high all-around score of 31.05 for a 4th place finish.


WH (123.45) also suffered a tough loss to Hingham (124.3) last night in what was considered a non-league meet as it was the pairing's third meeting.
