Whitman-Hanson Varsity Girls Lacrosse

The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team won a league game versus Plymouth South today 13-6. The Panthers were only up 4-2 at the half, but the work of Mel McAleer and Taylor McVeigh led to several draw controls in the second half. Ali Joanis led the offense with 5 goals and 2 assists. Also scoring for WH was McVeigh (3 goals, 2 assists), McAleer (3 goals, 1 assist), Zoe Lydon (goal, assist), Olivia Zimmerman (goal), and Mik White (2 assists). Kasey Molito had 12 saves in goal for WH. The win puts the Panthers at 2-7 on the season ( 1-3 league).
