Whitman-Hanson Varsity Girls Lacrosse

The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team lost a league game versus Scituate today 12-8. The first half was a back and forth affair with Scituate clinging to a 5-4 lead at half. The WH defense combined with Kasey Molito in net made the visiting team earn every goal in the second half. Molito had a career night with 20 saves. Unfortunately for WH, the offense had trouble controlling the ball. Leading the offense for the Panthers was Ali Joanis & Mel McAleer (4 assists) with 2 goals a piece. Also scoring to WH was Taylor McVeigh (1G, 2A), Zoe Lydon 1G, 1A), Olivia Zimmerman (1G), and Sami Whitman (1G). The loss brings WH to 8-9 on the season (4-5 league).
