WH Golf Loses to Hanover

The Hanover Indians defeated the Whitman Hanson Panthers today at Harmon Golf Club 234-267. The Panthers struggled at the difficult 9-hole course and couldn't seem to catch a break, as no one on the team played as they normally do. The loss drops the team back to .500 on the season with a record of 7-7 overall (6-7 league) and only four matches remaining. WH needs to split those in order to qualify for the state tournament in Easton. Tomorrow, the Panthers host the Hingham Harbormen, who defeated them earlier this season at South Shore Country Club. They are hoping to get revenge and even the score with what would be an upset for the home team. Last time the Harbormen were at Ridder, the Panthers defeated them by a stroke and hope to repeat the performance tomorrow.
