Hanover 6 Duxbury 2

The Hanover Hawks were triumphant over Duxbury 6-2 on Thursday. Hanover  got on the board in the first inning after John McDonald lit off with a double off of the top of the fence and Thomas Perkins doubled, scoring McDonald.  The Hawks added one run in the third after Cole Hendrickson singled on an 0-2 count. Hendrickson (95 pitches) earned his third win of the season for Hanover allowing  three hits and two runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking two.  Connor Hutchison (15 pitches) earned his third save of the season, shutting down Duxbury in order in the seventh
Hanover accumulated 12 hits in the game. Hutchison, McDonald, Perkins, and Sam Light each collected two hits for Hanover Hendrickson, Hutchison, Gabriel Knudsen, Perkins, and Light each drove in one run. Hanover ran wild on the base paths, piling up four stolen bases for the game. 
Hanover travels to Plymouth on Monday to face league opponent Plymouth South.
