Re: Hanover 5 Scituate 0 - 5/3/24

Hanover Hawks were triumphant over Marshfield 5-0 on Friday. Hanover got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Thomas Perkins singled,  scoring John McDonald  Sam Light walked, and James Solari walked, each scoring one run. Hanover added one run in the second. Gabriel Knudsen singled after a 6-pitch at-bat, making the score 5-0. Cole Hendrickson earned the win for the Hawks. The righty surrendered three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking one (83 pitches).
Knudsen, Perkins, Light, and Solari each drove in one run for Hanover. Perkins led the way with two hits in four at bats. Hanover had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 10 walks for the game. Connor Hutchison and John McDonald led the team with two free passes each. McDonald, Perkins, and Solari each stole multiple bases.  Hanover amassed six stolen bases for the game. Hanover Varsity Hawks were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
